My Experience
When I started my creative career, I remember there being so many hurdles to jump through and so many choices and directions to take. It became overwhelming.
Looking back now, with the benefit of hindsight, I wish I could have seen clearly which direction to take, and which decisions to make.
That’s why I’ve decided to offer what I’ve learnt over the past 15 years to other creatives, to help give them the step up they need and avoid some of those easy to make mistakes.

I’ve spent 15 years building a real, working career in photography from scratch. I’ve grown a wedding photography business, moved into commercial photography and filmmaking, co-founded a creative agency and worked with everyone from individual clients to established organisations. Along the way, I’ve had to provide real tangible value, price and sell my work, find clients, navigate difficult conversations, manage workloads, invest in equipment, adapt to an ever changing industry and decide when it was time to take my career in a new direction. I’ve experienced brilliant years, plenty of difficult ones and scary moments where I’ve questioned what comes next. Not to mention navigating a pandemic and recessions all thrown into the mix.
I don’t claim to have a magic formula, I don’t believe there is one. But I do have the perspective that comes from having been there, worked through it and built a sustainable creative career over the long term. I’ve created a name for myself and built the right mindset to see success. My role is to share that experience honestly, openly and help you avoid some of the mistakes, recognise what really matters, not be influenced by your environment and make decisions that are right for you.

Before the call, I’ll send over some pertinent questions, followed by some key points I’d like you to think about prior to our call. Before our call I’ll assess what issues you are currently facing and how we can tackle these issues and move past them in an effective way.
Discovery
During our call, we’ll evaluate where you’re at, where you want to be and what success looks like for you. We’ll then analyse how we can get there and identify what areas you need to work on and help you become unstuck on your creative processes.
Analysis
We’ll create an action plan of what you need to do next to become a happy, healthy, sustainable creative!
